Old question: Why are jetvanes not shaped as on Redstone?

Here is another old question, related to Henrik Jensen's question number one above: Graphite vanes were successfully used on V2 and Redstone. Why have you chosen not to copy the shape of the vanes? Cheers, Urs

It's a difficult balancing act for CS. Work "too amateurish" and you end up having endless problems. Work "too professionally" and you end up never completing anything. I think Carsten's input regarding connectors and mountings is valuable, but sadly worded in an accusatory way. Cheers,...

Graphite vanes worked on V2 and Redstone. I wonder why CS doesn't copy the shape of the vanes from these rockets? But I agree that gimbal would be preferable if it can be achieved. Cheers, Urs
